Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how meKusta (“meKusta”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit mekusta.com (the “Site”) or get in touch with us. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data. If you have any questions, email us at hello@mekusta.com.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you book a call, send us an email or apply to work with us, we collect the details you choose to share — such as your name, email address, phone number, business name and any information you provide about your practice or enquiry.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting and security provider automatically logs standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring pages and the pages you view. This helps us keep the Site secure and running.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and schedule calls.
- To provide, maintain and improve our services.
- To keep the Site secure, available and functioning correctly.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
3. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR applies, we process your personal data on one or more of the following legal bases: your consent; the performance of a contract with you, or steps taken at your request before entering into one; our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business; and compliance with our legal obligations.
4. Cookies
The Site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Our security and hosting provider (Cloudflare) may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the Site and deliver content. If we introduce analytics or other cookies in the future, we will update this policy.
5. Bookings and third-party services
When you book a call, you are directed to Google’s appointment scheduling. Any information you enter there is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. We also rely on trusted service providers who process data on our behalf, including:
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery and security.
- Google Workspace — email, calendar and bookings.
- Mailgun — email delivery.
We only share your data with these providers to the extent necessary to run our services, and we do not sell your personal data.
6. Data retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to maintain our business records, or to comply with legal obligations — after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, update or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to request data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@mekusta.com. If you are in the EEA or UK and believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Data security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. International transfers
We and our service providers may process your data in countries outside your own, including outside the EEA. Where we do, we take steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.
10. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page, with the “Last updated” date shown above.
12. Contact
